+ 4 - 6 | § Metrosexual <- Don't like that word!
   --

According to wordspy.com (note I had to use this alternate method, as it doesn't even appears on the Merriam-Webster's Dictionary):

metrosexual
(met.roh.SEK.shoo.ul) n. An urban male with a strong aesthetic sense who spends a great deal of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle.

metrosexuality n.

Does this mean that only urban people can worry about their lifestyle and appearance?  Or does it means that there has to be a ruralsexual and a suburbansexual?  The reasoning is that only urban dwellers have access to the best products, shops, and health clubs.  So this means that unless someone acquires those products or make use of those services on an urban environment, that person doesn't worry enough about his lifestyle or appearance?

+ 8 - 7 | § You won a million dollars! Now What?
   --

Friday Five Hypotethical Question (January 30, 2004):

You have just won one million dollars:
1. Who do you call first?
2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself?
3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else?
4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom?
5. Do you invest any? If so, how?

I don't usually answer Friday Five questions on my WebLog.  They do reveal personal opinions that aren't necessarily of interest for people who don't know me personally.

However, this Friday Five is a valid question that I think everyone should ask him/herself.  It is actually possible that you acquire a big chunk of money at some point or another:  inheritance, sale of appreciated real estate, big companny bonus, or plain old lottery :)  I actually know someone at work that won a similar ammount on a casino - and yes, he still works with us, in a more relaxed way, of course.

For the sake of discussion I will answer it with the things I would do if I got that amount of money, and the things this friend actually did.
